The main natural attraction of Alhaurin el Grande is, undoubtedly, the town saw.

Today it´s classified as complex serrano of environmental interest (CSIA) with maximum protection for their landscape and geomorphological values.

Peaks gradually descend towards the west, where form known as the port of fishermen, a natural stel from the inside to the coast used over time. In the area closest to Alhaurin de la Torre is where the higher slopes, are concentrated in many cases close to 100%.

In this case highlight the known as the Tajo de la Yedra, Eagle or horse. Sierra welcomes a large aquifer whose water reserves well, giving rise to large number of fountains, springs and births.

Among them is remarkable present in the sierra, 538 meters above sea level, and known as the source of El Acwbuche dating back to 1945 and it´s located in one of the most significant natural areas of the sierra.

For this reason it has become one of the must-see, with several marked hiking trails and cycling very attractive both for athletes as amateurs, part of these routes to the great path of Málaga to belong.

The singular points of greatest attraction include the natural vantage points from which recreate with spectacular panomaric views, the house of guardianes, and the source of Acebuche, which, except in exceptional cases of drought, has water year-round,being one of the ideal places to enjoy the diversity of birds that come to drink. Ideal for mountaineering.
