Although initially it was wooden, it took little to erect stone cross in memory of missions conducted with the order of the Capuchinos of Antequera from January 22nd to February 3, 1898.
It´s located in a meeting point confluence of important strees as Cartama road, avd. de la libertad and avd. Gerald Brenan, also known as Camino de Málaga, main entrance to the historic centre and one of the streets with more people´s lives, where there are numerous shops and a variety of bars and restaurants where you can eat or drink.
