Alhaurin provides great amount of fruits and vegetables that can be grown in our fields,they are consumed by residents in the traditional manner for centuries. Among them are the organes and tangerines, plums and apricots,and vegetables such as tomato, pepper, eggplant, cauliflower and the chard among others.

Wit and savoir-faire of neighbours keeps traditions as the production for personal consumtion of oil, seasoned olives and wine among others. All these products and traditional processing make up a typical mediterranean diet.

WINTER GAZPACHO

It hasn´t tomatoes, but yes oranges and lettuce and is often accompanied by chives and dried figs. It´s a cold dish.

PUCHERO SOUP

With it´s typical pringá, consisting of ham pork and bacon.

Cachorreñas carrying in addition to codfish, tomato, onion and orange. The summer have sardines.
