Se trata de un volumen escrito, en todas sus ediciones, en castellano, ingl\u00e9s y alem\u00e1n, lo que demuestra que se trataba de un libro con amplia proyecci\u00f3n al exterior.<\/p>\n En este ejemplar en concreto, quedan patentes adem\u00e1s las buenas relaciones que el autor se granje\u00f3 en Argentina pues, adem\u00e1s de Jorge Luis Borges, pasaron a formar parte de su cartera de contactos personalidades vinculadas a c\u00edrculos intelectuales como los escritores Silvina Ocampo, su marido Adolfo Bioy Casares y su hermana Victoria Ocampo (para quien Th\u00f6rlichen trabajar\u00e1 como fot\u00f3grafo en su libro San Isidro). Estos autores personificar\u00e1n la cumbre de la literatura argentina del siglo XX.<\/p>\n Sus colaboraciones en publicaciones varias y sus exposiciones fotogr\u00e1ficas en la naci\u00f3n argentina se suceder\u00e1n de manera regular. De hecho, su buen hacer, su fama y sus relaciones le llevar\u00e1n a convertirse en el fot\u00f3grafo personal del presidente Juan Domingo Per\u00f3n y su esposa Eva Duarte (Evita Per\u00f3n).<\/p>\n Asimismo, un conjunto de fotograf\u00edas le llev\u00f3 a realizar una exposici\u00f3n en La Paz, queriendo la casualidad que conociera a un joven m\u00e9dico argentino que paseaba por Latinoam\u00e9rica en su motocicleta. En su Diario de Viaje, el m\u00e9dico cita: \u201cTh\u00f6lichen transmite el gusto por la fotograf\u00eda al joven, adem\u00e1s de una t\u00e9cnica sencilla subordinada \u00edntegramente a una composici\u00f3n met\u00f3dica que da como resultado fotos de notable valor\u201d<\/em>. Ser\u00e1 tanto el impacto causado que el autor influir\u00e1 en el propio proyecto de vida del m\u00e9dico, sin saber que se trataba del futuro Ernesto Che Guevara.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ text_font=”Roboto||||” text_text_color=”#848484″ text_line_height=”1.4em” background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” text_orientation=”justified” max_width=”450px” custom_padding=”20px||||false|false” animation_style=”slide” animation_direction=”top” animation_delay=”200ms” animation_intensity_slide=”10%” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Gustavo Thorlichen, pintor y fot\u00f3grafo de gran entidad, nace en Hamburgo (Alemania) el 6 de noviembre de 1906. Comienza su formaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, concretamente en dibujo y pintura, en las Academias de Bellas Artes de Hamburgo y Leipzig, as\u00ed como en la Acad\u00e9mie de la Grande Chaumi\u00e8re de Par\u00eds.<\/p>\n Vi\u00e9ndose influenciado por las vanguardias rusas, en particular por el Constructivismo de Aleksandr R\u00f3dchenko, desarrollar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n una gran carrera como fot\u00f3grafo, de forma concreta y a gran escala en Buenos Aires, donde se exili\u00f3 \u201ccon apenas 40 pesos de capital\u201d y \u201ccon la intenci\u00f3n de comprar una mula, como las que hab\u00eda visto en alg\u00fan antiguo grabado, atada a una palmera en los alrededores del puerto aldeano\u201d. Al a\u00f1o siguiente, al llegar al poder Arturo Frondizi, del que era amigo personal, regresa a Argentina y colabora con Borges en el libro de fotograf\u00edas \u201cLa Rep\u00fablica Argentina\u201d. En el a\u00f1o 1958 acompa\u00f1a al Presidente Arturo Frondizi a EEUU, exponiendo en Washinngton. En los a\u00f1os 1960 y 1962 expone en Tokio y Kore ( Jap\u00f3n). Durante los diecis\u00e9is a\u00f1os que pas\u00f3 en la localidad, se dedic\u00f3 al dibujo y a la pintura, exponiendo en C\u00e1diz, Fuengirola, Alhaur\u00edn de la Torre y M\u00e1laga (Colegio de Arquitectos).<\/p>\n Fallece el 12 de noviembre de 1986, legando toda su obra al Ayuntamiento de Alhaur\u00edn el Grande. En la actualidad, el Consistorio\u00a0se encuentra en propiedad sobre unos 2500 originales, comprendiendo l\u00e1minas y dibujos. En el a\u00f1o 2003 se celebr\u00f3 una exposici\u00f3n p\u00f3stuma en las Cuevas del Convento, titulada \u201cVives, mientras alguien piensa en ti<\/strong>\u201d.
